A Few of My Favorite Spring Things!
If you are anything like me, Spring just can't come soon enough. Besides the warmer temps, the increased daylight -- the orangy glow that lingers past dinner time and the morning "jump-start" of early light -- are like an extra fuel source. Stepping outside in a t-shirt and bare-feet to have a cup of coffee or make a phone call just makes me feel good. As seasonal, colorful produce becomes available at your local market -- and as the farmers markets start to pop back up -- it's natural to begin to crave lighter, cooler and less 'complicated' meals.
More outdoor time requires an SPF sunscreen over your day-time moisturizer (even if it has an SPF, as it tends to sink into your skin, rather than a sunblock that sits 'on' your skin) first thing -- every day. In addition, Spring is a nice time to swap out darker shades on lips, eyes and cheeks for lighter and brighter make-up looks to go with lighter and often more colorful fabrics in your Spring wardrobe.
