Pumpkin Spice Protein Shake


Happy October -- the 'pumpkin-everything' season! Not only does pumpkin pair beautifully with warming spices -- cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger -- but, one cup gives you more than a daily dose of vitamin A, plus a healthy dose of vitamins C and E, fiber, folate, B6 and magnesium. Tumeric gives this shake both a powerful anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant boost. If you are doing our Arbonne "30 Days to Healthy Living Program" or opposed to the frozen 1/2 banana, you can swap it out for 1/4 of a large avocado for a creamy texture.

Use a high speed blender for best consistency. Add to blender, in this order:

1.5 cups unsweetened coconut or almond milk (regular or vanilla)

3/4 cup unsweetened pumpkin puree (from a can or made yourself)

1/2 frozen banana (or 1/4 chilled avocado)

2 scoops Arbonne Vanilla Protein Shake Mix

1/2 scoop Arbonne Daily Fiber Boost

1 Tbsp chia seeds

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp tumeric

1/4 tsp nutmeg

1/4 tsp ground ginger

opt: 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract

4 ice cubes

Blend on low speed for 20 seconds until well mixed. Power up to high for 30 seconds and serve immediately. Sprinkle cinnamon on top for a bit more spice!
